PJAS stands for Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science.  It is a state-wide organization of junior and senior high school students designed to stimulate and promote interest among it members through the development of research projects and investigations, prepare a written report, and present an oral presentation on their findings at the Regional Meeting.
