• Teams in certain grades participate in the Diocese of Greensburg CYO program and attend playoff games.

•  Parents or other interested adults serve as volunteer coaches.  Those coaching more than one year must attend a diocesan sanctioned clinic.  All coaches have clearances.

• All students must have 8 hours of service to be listed on the team roster.  Service completed through the school are tracked by the school.  If service is completed through another source, a letter of service is needed.

• All students participating in our sports program in grades 6-8 need physicals dated after July 1^st with forms signed and dated by their physician.  Some students in grade 5 may also need physicals.  The forms are only available online.  If you do not have access to the Internet, contact the school for a printed copy.

• Activity fees are charged for participants.

CYO Playoff Results for 2007-08

We are proud of our girls basketball teams and grateful to the coaches. The MQA girls brought home 2 trophies from the recent CYO Playoffs. The varsity finished the season in second place and our JV Blue team finished first in their division. Our JV White team ended up in third place. The coaches were Ray Polinski and Al Corradene (Varsity), Karl Gustafson (JV Blue) and Doug and Hannah Olinger (JV White). I am very grateful for the hours the coaching staff spent with the girls from July to last weekend and of the manner the entire group were representatives of Mary Queen of Apostles School. ...Mike Collett
