Scrip Program
2008 Summer Schedule
Scrip orders must be received by 9:00 AM
at the Leishman Avenue site on the
following dates. Orders will be available
for pickup the following Wednesday.

Regular weekly orders will resume
on August 27, 2008.
Summer office hours will be
Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Grocery
Certificate Program - hosted by Mary
Queen of Apostles School. When your family
participates in this program, profits earned from
May 1, 2007 through April 30, 2008 will be used to
help reduce your family’s obligation towards the
cost to educate for the 2008 – 2009 school year,
help to establish a local tuition assistance fund
and provide educational improvements. Everyone can
participate and there is no extra cost to you. In
addition to our own school families’ participation,
we will be asking parishioners of our parishes to
enroll in our “Adopt-A-Student” Program by
purchasing certificates and crediting an assigned
student. You are encouraged to recruit friends
and relatives to adopt your children. Please
register your “recruits” using the
Adopt A Student Form. Each school family and each adopting
family will receive a key tag with your child’s ID
number. This number will be used to credit your
child when a purchase is made. 3% of the
grocery certificate purchase will be credited to
your child. Adopting families will also receive
periodic correspondence from our school and
students. Grocery certificates are available in the
School Offices, Parish Offices of St. Margaret Mary,
Mount St. Peter, and St. Joseph, and the service
desks of Lower Burrell Community Market, New
Kensington’s Giant Eagle and Golden Dawn. Simply go
to one of these locations and purchase Mary Queen of
Apostles School grocery certificates using cash or a
check made payable to MQA School. Pay for your
purchases using the grocery certificates. Just a
reminder, certificates purchased for Giant Eagle can
be used for pharmacy, video rental, retail gift card
and gasoline purchases. |

brochure sale offers a huge selection of items for
everyone including candy, cheese spreads, gift-wrap,
magazines and many gift items. 30% of your total
sales will be applied to your family as tuition
credit. |

Valos Easter
Candy Sale
- Valos offers a large selection of
delicious boxed candy, bunnies, jellybeans, foil
eggs and much more. 40% of your total sales will be
applied to your family as tuition credit for
2008-2009. |

Scrip Program
allows participants to purchase gift cards from
national and local retailers and a percentage of
your total purchase amount can be applied for
tuition credit for the 2008-2009 school year.
Percentages vary – please refer to the enclosed
retailer list. Orders must be received no later
than 9:00 am on Wednesdays. Deliveries will be
the following Wednesday. Payment must be included
with your order and no phone orders will be
accepted. Please plan ahead and take into
consideration special circumstances that may delay
shipments – holiday closings, school vacation,
weather, etc. You can choose whether to have your
order sent home via your child or it can be kept at
the school office for pick up. No gift cards can be
mailed.

Family Referral
Credit - Current families can earn $100 for
each new family they refer to Mary Queen of Apostles
School. Credit will be issued after the new family
enrolls and completes one full school year. |

Kidstuff Coupon Books
offer families
the opportunity to purchase valuable,
family-friendly coupon books. 50% of your total
sales will be applied to your family as tuition
credit. Families will also earn a free coupon book
for every 5 books they sell.
