Student at Mary Queen of Apostles School and their sponsor, Mrs. Cathy Collett particpated in two robotics competitions. CMU hosts the annual First Lego League Competition. Using the Lego NXT robots and software, students program their robots to complete a series of missions. Based on a theme and concept to study, students also complete a research presentation. Students are judged on five areas: robotic design, software programming, robotic performance, research presentation, and teamwork.
