Band

Mr. Talarovich

Student may audition for the MQA Band. The band performs in the Christmas and spring concerts, a Christmas band tour, and an all-band spring concert. Please print and return the Band form.

Intermediate Chorus

4th-6th

Mr. Olearchick

Students who elect to participate in chorus perform in two concerts, a Christmas concert and a spring concert. Please print and return the Chorus 4/5/6 form.

Design Technology

4th-6th

In this activity, students work with K’nex to design and build a series of objects, as they learn the design technology cycle. With emphasis on problem solving. Students may choose this elective for the whole year or for one semester.

Knightly News

4th-6th

Knightly News is an activity that gives students the opportunity to use their writing talents to create and publish a quarterly school newspaper. Students may choose this elective for the whole year or for one semester.

Robotics NXT

5th-6th

Mrs. Collett 

Robotics is an activity where students will learn the basics of building an NXT robot, programming the robot using NXT software, and designing robotic attachments and special programs to complete missions. This elective is a yearlong activity only.

Webbies

4th-6th

This activity produces school news clips with audio and pictures in a movie format. The files are published on the school web site. Students may choose this elective for the whole year or for one semester.

Think for Fun

4th-6th

Mrs. Troiano

This activity allows students the opportunity to explore a variety of games that develop higher order thinking skills and build academic skills.  These include Math 24, chess, Scrabble and others.  Students may choose this elective for the whole year or for one semester.
