Admissions
Students are admitted and wait-listed to Mary Queen of Apostles School in the following order:
1. Students currently enrolled
2. Catholics from the four sending parishes
3. Catholics from the Dioceses of Greensburg
4. Catholics from other dioceses
5. Non-catholics
Admission requires proof of vaccinations, copies of health records, birth certificate and proof of residence. If living with a guardian, residency and responsibility papers are needed.
Non-catholic students attending a Catholic school shall be expected to follow the local policy with regard to attendance at religious activities during the school day.
Application for Admission
Application for the upcoming fall term begins in February for preschool, kindergarten, and grades one through eight. For students currently attending Mary Queen of Apostles School an application form and family application fee of $50.00 is required each year. Application packets are sent home wth the students.
Families wishing to transfer a student to Mary Queen of Apostles School begin the process with a visit to the school, a review of records and a meeting with the principal. Following the initial contacts, application materials are provided. A $50.00 family application fee is required for new and transferring families.
Enrollment is considered active and complete when the application and family fee are received, the Tuition Payment Agreement is on file and tuition payments begin. Those awaiting entrance to a grade are contacted based on the return of the application and fee when an opening arises.
