In order to support the athletic program at MQA, a Night at the Races will be held at Marble Hall (Mt. St. Peter Church) on Friday, January 24th with doors opening at 6:00 and post time at 6:30. This is an adults only event open to everyone and is a great time to invite family and friends from outside of the school community to join in the fun. All families are welcome and encouraged to participate in a variety of ways. Horses that “run” in the ten races can be “purchased and named”. The winning horse receives a cash prize. Attending the event and betting on the horses is open to all. Tickets include food and beverages. Many people also bring their own refreshments to share at their table
or with friends. Of course, adults can volunteer to help! A letter explaining the fundraiser in more detail and a flyer to share with family and friends will be sent via School Messenger.
Reserve tickets and/or purchase horses online by January 19th so your horses will be in the race program.
