Ten presentations were invited to the Finals/All Star Forensic Tournament at South Fayette. The team did exceedingly well, with members getting 7 first awards and 3 second awards.
The All-Stars tournament is an honors tournament where top students from all schools are ranked within each category. Once again, we had a exceptional showing in the Finals round with ten members advancing to All Stars!
In the Final round of competition, the results are as follows:
Poetry – Aby Farmer and Ava Myers each earned a 1st place award.
Prose – Julia Skowronski and Emmalin Domiano each earned a 1st place award.
Drama – Hadassah Cardaro and Bria Domiano each earned a 1st place award.
Declamation – William Gibbons and Frank Girardi each earned a 2nd place award.
Impromptu – Joelle Ondriezek earned a 1st place award.
Multiple Reading – Clara Girardi, Zoey Farmer and Martha Palumbo earned a 2nd place award.

One student is chosen to receive the Mary Fahey Award for encouraging students to participate in forensics, coaching team members, receiving many first awards and trying different categories in which to present readings. This year, Greta Magnusen is the recipient of the Mary Fahey Award. Congratulations to all the students on a job well done all year!
